-INTRODUCTION-

The purpose of the (name of the company) Angola Divisional Safety Plan (IADSP) is to accurately describe the structure of the Intership Angola Division Operations. IADSP is based on the Safety Case Philosophy. This document is to be read in conjunction with the other three parts of the Intership Angola Division Safety Plan. It will assist personnel in understanding the hazards and risk reduction measures onboard that ensure the vessel, projects and operations achieves an acceptable level of safety (ALARP) in operating in an Offshore Oil and Gas environment.

The main objectives of the IADSP are to demonstrate that:

• Major hazards on the facility, risks to personnel, and appropriate controls to manage these hazards have been identified;

• A description and overview of the facility has been provided;

• Specify and describe the Safety Management System to be used on the facility and provide evidence that the Safety Management System complies with the requirements of the OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004;

• Record the various safety analyses conducted as part of the Formal Safety Assessment process and to provide assurance that the operation will be conducted in a safe and effective manner.
