referitor la sensurile cuvântului înfirat, ținând cont că cei ce au întocmit dicționarele probabil nu erau familiarizați cu conceptul de "etichetă pe fir" (tag wire), nici nu se puteau gândi să adauge sensul de "agățat pe fir"; singura mențiune e făcută în dicționarul de arhaisme (sensuri moarte) pentru mărgele: "a pune în fir mărgelele", unde poate mai corect s-ar fi spus "a pune pe fir", nu "în fir"; totuși, dacă un sens poate muri, de ce nu poate lua naștere altul?

disagree  Florin Ular: Din DEX: „Înfirat = (Rar) Cusut sau brodat cu fir., 1. a pune în fir mărgelele; a înșira. 2. a coase cu fir, a broda cu fir. 3. a băga ața în ac.” Cred că nu ai înțeles exact despre ce este vorba. „Suspendabil” nu există în română.

  -> Dicționarele se revizuiesc și adăugesc, iar traducătorii și scriitorii sunt cei ce contribuie la îmbogățirea vocabularului unei limbi, prin împrumut (e.g. neologisme), creație (e.g. nylon, blobject etc.), sau prin suplimentarea sensurilor unui cuvânt.
