Посмотрел в интернете - его имя в переводе на русский испанизировали - вместо Хоан - Хуан.

Также как Бенджамин Нетанияху в США никто не будет произносить Биньямин Нетанияху (т.е. как правильно) или в русском языке Голда МЕир, а не Голда МеИР (т.е. как правильно).

Но в каталонском есть множество региональных диалектов с заметными фонетическими особенностями. Если в Барселоне «J» произносят как «Ж», то на Балеарских островах как «дж». «Z», в отличие от испанского, звучит звонко, оглушаясь и редуцируясь в конце ритмической группы до «с» (под влиянием испанского может звучать и как английское «th» в глухой позиции).

Фамилия же «Pericot» явно французского происхождения, но каталонцы, скорее всего, последнюю «t» все же попытаются произнести. Правда, почти неразличимо для невооруженного уха.

However, on the other hand, the guy works for a US headquartered company, and this is how his name is pronounced in the US by his American employers (interestingly, and very typical of Americans, his name is misspelled in the caption popping up in the video as the WhatTheyThink dude is introducing him):

So, here’s the translator’s dilemma: which way to go—the Catalan way or the American English way? To be on the safe side, I’d go with the Catalan version, though, as rightly suggested by Максим and Мария, adding the name in its original spelling in Latin characters in parentheses following the Cyrillic transliteration for those curious among the readership to be able to look him up on original sites.
