Duplicate incubations at 25°C for 20 minutes consisted of 0.5 ml Tris HCl buffer, 0.2 ml membranes (0.5 mg protein), 0.2 ml DL-propranolol (20 µM) or buffer, and 0.1 ml [3H]DHA.
