Field wiring for the GS Series valves must be suitable for at least 105 °C.
Connect the ground terminal of the GS Series valve to earth ground.
Compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC noise measurement and mitigation requirements is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the machinery into which this product is incorporated.
The IP66 rating for Zone 2 compliance depends on the proper connection of conduit to the GS Series enclosure.
Conduit barriers are not required for Zone 2 installation.
General EMC Compliance – Special Conditions for Use
To meet EMC regulatory compliance, shielded twisted cable shall be used according to specification (user manual).
Shields at both sides shall be connected to earth ground.
At least at one side (at GS Series valves or opposite cable end), an AC coupling (shield connected to earth ground via R||C components) shall be ensured.
