What you are looking for (probably), they are units for date base information, to store on hard drive, but also are units, which they are stimulating heart or have a function as defibrillators, but all of them somehow relates to the heart.

  -> if you'll read more web sites, it depend where is Patient Leads standing.

agree  Monika@ProZ: Patient leads are the endings that are attached to patient's body when performing EKG.

  -> checking www.medical.phillips.com, after your coment , I can see they have part for EKG to offer. One of the section is cables and leadsets, which ther are endings and not cables. Those ending are:blood presure cuffs, adapters and NIBP accessories.
