Tratándose de fachadas, que tienen una gran superficie, se las fija/ancla/arriostra (según el caso) de forma lateral para resistir los embates del viento y otras cargas. Mi sugerencia

disagree Neil Ashby : It's being restrained (held down, fixed), not reinforced./Restrain does not equal "reforzar", no problems with my comprehension and I still disagree that it is any sort of equivalent of the ST. No I don't invent things in translation. I translate.
