English term

shock loads

English to Spanish Other Medical (general)
Hello everyone!

I was translating an advisory on heavy vehicles and have found this term:
"Never jump down from equipment [heavy vehicle]. This causes shock loads on the spine and can lead to injury."

I've seen "shock load" translated as "carga de impacto" y "fuerza de choque" when referred to the power of materials (such as concrete) that impact against the surface where they are being poured, but never applied to a health condition.

Any suggestions??

Thank you!!
