Explanation:
Creo que la metáfora es válida en español también.
“Los sospechosos usuales”... o “los candidatos de siempre” “los alimentos –o elementos– que siempre gozan de popularidad”... “los suplementos nutritivos más populares”...

Las opciones para expresarlo en español pueden ser múltiples. Pero creo que usar “sospechosos” resulta simpático y algo graciosillo...
