An adjustable progressive start-up valve (4) ensures a slow aeration and is controlled by a magnet valve (5). The pressure switches (6, 7 and 8) a foreseen for monitoring the air pressure."

Trycksättningsventilen öppnar långsamt så att tryckluften till ventiler och cylindrar släpps på kontrollerat. Skulle man öppna en magnetventil och trycksätta hela maskinen momentant skulle tryckluftsmanövrerade delar röra sig snabbt och okontrollerat till sina ändlägen. På vilket sätt ventilen är "progressiv" vet jag inte.
