Wikipedia'da şu açıklama var:
Emic and etic are terms used by some in the social sciences and the behavioral sciences to refer to two different kinds of data concerning human behavior. An "emic" account of behavior is a description of behavior in terms meaningful (consciously or unconsciously) to the actor, the insider view. An "etic" account is a description of a behavior in terms familiar to the observer, the outsider view.

# Ethics is a general term for what is often described as the "science (study) of morality". In philosophy, ethical behavior is that which is "good" or "right." The Western tradition of ethics is sometimes called moral philosophy. This is one part of value theory (axiology) – the other part is aesthetics – of the four major branches of philosophy, alongside metaphysics, epistemology, and logic.
