burden

I think it means 'I'm sorry to burden you with my problems'.
Peer comment(s):

agree Tony M : Exactly — though they might not be the speaker's own problems: it could for example be giving the listener some news of things they have to deal with (which are not actually the speaker's problems)

neutral Yvonne Gallagher : "burden" is OK but, it could be any sort of troubling info or stuff that needs to be done or money that needs to be found...we don't have enough context to know

to bear or take over my own liabilities and obligations

to take over what belong to me
Peer comment(s):

neutral Tony M : There's nothing that says they are "my own", and so in many circumstances this wouldn't be applicable.

disagree Yvonne Gallagher : don't know how you're coming to that conclusion

Yvonne:May you tell me what would the listener bear?
disagree Lydia De Jorge : Sorry, this makes no sense! Even in its literal translation 'throw at' would not mean 'to take over what belongs to me'.

Present suddenly

In this context, I believe there’s a sense of unexpectedness. “I’m sorry to present all this [information] to you so suddenly and out of the blue.”
