I'm reading through a paper on the effects of microorganisms on the deterioration of food products. I've come across this sentence:
"Double seriated dilutions were made in MRS broth at different initial microorganism concentrations."

Is this correct? And if so what does it mean??

'Seriated' exists (I was surprised to find out), but 'serial' is the usual term in your context.
In serial dilution the solution resulting from a dilution is diluted again in the same proportion, and the resulting solution is diluted agin, and so on.
