English term

wishwillies

English Science
"My brother was the first to suggest to me, a couple of weeks ago, that wishwillies were a rare kind of iguana."
Obviously, the text tells what are they talking about, but I can't find the translation for wishwillies, and cannot use in the text anything but a name.

Spiny Tailed Iguana

If it helps, the Latin for wishwilly is Ctenosaurus similis, also known in English as simply "ctenosaur" as well as "spiny tailed iguana" and "spiny iguana". You didn't mention what language you were trying to translate in, so I've provided a handful of translations I've been able to find while researching the question:

German - Schwarzer Leguan
Dutch - Zwarte leguaan
Czech - leguán zemní
French - Iguane noir

Hope this was of some assistance!
