When I was a teacher in Kashan, my students used to use بگم بگم in a variety of ways...one was to simply indicate they knew the answer to a question in class...another was indicate they knew something "secret/private" and wanted to tell me.

Here, Ahmadinejad (and others) are threatening to tell what they know about the system as a kind of "blackmail".

For me the logic was to try to use a similar construction, which is basically what children use. Children don't want to be called or known as a "tattletale".

We would say something like this in English:
The "tattletale" era has ended.
or
The "tattling" period is over.
and
Erdoghan has collected his "tattletale" documents.

I hope this explains it...if not please ask for more explanation.

I failed to grasp the logic behind your answers, so I have two questions for you:

1) I wonder if you know the origin and the political connotations of "بگم بگم" in Iranian political environment? How do you relate your answer to this sphere?
2) Would you please translate the following based on the words you've suggested?
