German term

einseitig/zweiseitig abgesteckter Zapfen

German to English Tech/Engineering Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting joinery
All I've got to go on in terms of context is a picture.

I think that this may translate as "one/two-shouldered tenon", on the basis that these terms exist and that this website:
http://www.modellbau-quedlinburg.de/mbq/cms/front_content.ph...
lists "zweiseitig abgesteckter Zapfen" with the alternative name "zweiseitig geächselter Zapfen", with a picture matching mine. I can't find an image of a one or two shouldered tenon anywhere to clinch it. (Also, it seems to appear only in historical contexts.) "Stub tenon" may be another possibility:
www.sawdustmaking.com/woodjoints

I don't think "blind" and "through tenon" have anything to do with it:both types are blind.

Einseitig appears to be where the end of the wood at the joint has been squared off on only two sides to make a tenon(ie, oblong tenon in oblong mortise hole). For the zweiseitig one, the end of the piece of wood has been squared off on all four sides, making a square tenon.

According to the only site I could find (with a reasonable amount of googling) that addresses this question:

http://www.woodworkersjournal.com/articles/mortiseandtenon.c...

You might want to wait to see whether Kim Metzger (a cabinetmaker by (a)vocation) has anything to say about this.

The document cited in my answer to your question on Stirn- und Fersenversatz speaks of 'tenons cut on two and four sides', which is probably a better general translation.

see e.g.

No. 32. A blind mortise-and-tenon is similar to the simple mortise-and-tenon described in 30. The tenon does not extend thru the mortised member and the cheeks of the tenon may be cut on two or four sides.

one-/two-sided aligned tenon/dowel pin

at first I thought they may mean "abgesenkter Zapfen"
The best I could come up with for "abgesteckter" is aligned
