produced / fashioned /crafted à la xxx / after xxx / following xxx's example / in the tradition of x
I think I'd need to know what sort of delicacies/exquisite pieces these are in order to find the right verb. I find this 'im Zeichen des/der' comes up frequently. I take it that it comes from astrology and I have never yet found a catch-all way of translating it. So here are a few first stabs....

Handmade delicacies paying tribute to the tradition of xxx
A number of possibilities offer themselves here from: ..."following in the tradition..." to simply "in the tradition of ..." Although "paying tribute" may not directly parallel the German structure, it captures the sense of the phrase.

true to (the) xxx tradition
A slight variant on Helen's & Eggsacion's. Yes it does need more context. Is xxx a manufacturer (arty chocolates? Fine china?) Is the public'n a local mag? An ad-brochure?

im Zeichen / unter dem Zeichen
Oxford Duden dictionary made reference to the following (inter alia):
Zeichen:
er ist im Zeichen / unter dem Zeichen des Widders geboren - he was born under the sign of Aries
unter dem Zeichen von etw. stehen - to take place against a background of something
das Jahr 1979 stand unter dem Zeichen des Kindes - 1979 was the year of the child.
So, this tradition appears to be a background to which this production activity takes place.

: yes, it is used much more in German than English./I think I've also translated it as 'under the umbrella of', but that's clearly not suitable here. I won't ask if you are a Cancer, obviously ...!

Thank you Helen! As you said, it crops up in astrology (and also astronomy) a lot. I remember reading a lot of "im Zeichen des Krebses..." ;)
