Thank you to everyone and for the lively discussion. Dorothy's entry gave me the final solution: ...and to keep handy in the fridge for when you want another one."
Dorothy Schaps Jul 22, 2017:
The German is too wordy... ...to be directly conveyed in EN. The German has three ideas for these multipacks:
1. They're ideal for sharing with family and friends
2. You can keep them as a 'Vorratspackung'
3. They're great for the times when you fancy another snack.

My gut feeling is to combine ideas 2 & 3. I mean why else would you keep a 'Vorratspackung' if not for eating some later - even if later is just 5 mins after eating the first one! So something along the lines of:
'Ideal for sharing with family and friends or for keeping in stock/in the fridge for when you fancy another snack/one just isn't enough'.

It does deviate slightly from the original meaning, but I don't think badly so. I think it's better that way than trying to fit the three ideas into EN and ending up with a clunky-sounding translation.

To keep in the fridge Yes, I realised that after posting my answer and added a note to that effect. The idea is still the same, however, that you keep the snack for later consumption.

Remember these are *chilled" They can't be stored in the cupboard.

I don't disagree with "family pack", but I'm guessing modern marketing would rather avoid phrases that limit the field. Also you say the product is chilled/to be stored in a fridge. So I think a phrase is needed instead of a noun. Depending on what the product is, one of the above should fit.

neutral Dorothy Schaps : Jaein... ;) Usually I would agree, but I don't think it works in this particular context as family has already been mentioned at the beginning of the sentence...

to keep in the cupboard

While we'd usually translate 'Vorratspackung' with family pack or convenience pack, I believe a description is needed here in this context. It's talking about about the "Multipack" and its benefits - it's great to share among friends or family, keep in the cupboard, or perfect if you're feeling hungry enough for two.

Or to keep in the fridge, as it's a chilled product.

agree Armorel Young : Yes, possibly "keep in the store cupboard", but I think this puts it well.
