Additional thoughts: they are transporting rough panels to the Kranlager, which is equipped with an automatic stacker for Kantholz. Kantholz is squared timber or squared stock anyway you look at it and not panels. So, although they\'re talking about processing rough panels, the machine referred to is still designed to handle squared stock. It would seem the squared-stock machine can also handle panels.

neutral  Ken Cox: This context appears to relate to plywood panels, so perhaps the Kantholz is solid square-sawn wood strips that form the core of the panels (if it is, I imagine they have a proper name in English...//on second thought, rough panels are being stacked...
