German term
Blas-schleuse
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Medical: Pharmaceuticals
I'm at the end of a long translation on cross-contamination in the pharmaceutical industry. I now have a floor plan/layout to translate with labels of names of rooms and areas e.g. mixing room, tablet production, weighing etc.
There is one area labelled Blas-schleuse (hyphen may me for space). There are other 'locks' i.e. machine lock, but I'm stuck on this one. I though of 'air lock' but that is 'Luft schleuse' I think.
Any help appreciated.
Sorry no more context as not within a sentence, just a label.

blow-through lock
The first link inserted below contains the German expression, the second one is the English version of the same site. I think "blow-through lock" is the correct equivalent for the German "Blasschleuse". Hope this is helpful!
