German term

als Maximum angemessen

German to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals regulatory

In comparison with other fixed-drug combinations, 5 g paracetamol or 6 g paracetamol would be considered a maximum and thereby only the pack sizes with 6 and 8 film-coated tablets would be classified as prescription-free.

Hello,
I think the terminology is good, but I'm just interested in validating my interpretation of "als Maximum angemessen". For me "angemessen" means appropriate, adequate or suitable but I don't see how it can mean that here.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Or suitable, or reasonable. Looks OK to me!

There shouldn't be a hyphen after "fixed", by the way.

Pack size. It says Packungsgrössen later in the same sentence.
