Gold Spring Alloy / Spring Gold Alloy ?????
I think we are working on part of the same document. My section mentions Goldlegierung (gold alloy) on its own and later in another document Feder (spring) is used as part of the earring clasp.
This led me to search for either Spring Gold Alloy or Gold Spring Alloy. Unfortunately, I found both at the following websites but I am not sure whether Feder translates as Spring in this context or not:
hooverandstrong.com/products/millprod/wire.htm
These sites mention Gold Spring Alloy:
www.apecs.com.au/evolutionofall/page12.htm
www.apecs.com.au/alloyinginsmal/page6.htm
Found these at google.com

Mary,
To provide an answer, one would definitely need more context, i.e. what type of jewelry. An Internet search revealed nothing, and my dictionaries have nothing to offer. The only thing I can think of is that the Feder is a piece of a clasp (as in Federverschluss)for a necklace or bracelet. Hopefully, this might help you.
Good luck!
