Describing the reason's for a child's impaired development, among others:

-"unzureichend speilerische Anregung, unzureichend gezielte Zuwendungen", etc.

I don't want to translate freely here, as I may be very off. Does anyone know the idiomatic phych. term for it?

thefastshow Mar 4, 2012: Does the text provide a name or phrase for the " impaired development" e.g. Attention deficit disorder (ADHD) etc.? If so this would be very helpful to see if there is an official phrase .. please check so we can verify....
Armorel Young Mar 4, 2012: I don't think it's about care so much as attention - in my view it's about the carer or parent actually paying attention to the chile (listening to it, noticing what it's interested in, talking to it, etc.)
