Wie könnte ich diesen Begriff am besten übersetzen? Ich konnte kein passendes Beispiel bei meiner Google-Suche finden, und wäre für Vorschläge sehr dankbar!!

  -> Thanks - yes, I thought of that but decided that Trennschärfe had distinct implications of distinguishing between different things, whereas acuity is sharpness/precision per se.
