Specific points you're struggling with? @Sebastian it looks to me like your questions from today might have all come from the same text - could you flag in each of them what specifically you're struggling with? Is it a piece of vocabulary? Is it rendering the phrase as a whole in a way that sounds natural? Otherwise it's a bit of a stab in the dark, as an answerer, to try and work out how best to help!

All [whoever it is]'s hopes are pinned on this horse – and [cont. below]

All [whoever it is]'s hopes are pinned on this horse – and when saddled up, he benefits from the trusting bond he has forged with his rider, too.

I'm no horsewoman - but this might give you a starting-point to play around with.

Is there a particular term that's troubling you here, @Sebastian? There's lots of different ways you could approach this one - and any one of the components (Hoffnungstraeger / vertrauensvolle Bindung / unter dem Sattel) could really be a KudoZ question in its own right!

The German sentence seems a bit silly, but I'm trying to make the best of it...

"Even when saddled up, this hopeful contender thrives on a strong bond with his rider."
