Passepartout-Geschmeidigkeit

German to English Other Textiles / Clothing / Fashion Fashion
I need some help with interpreting this term. The text in question is a marketing blurb for a fashion brand.

"Hosen und Röcke zeigen in der angebotenen Konfektionspalette **Passepartoutgeschmeidigkeit** (...)"

I suspect this is something to do with cut and/or sizing. Have googled extensively but only come up with one hit from a fashion site where the actual term is used but unfortunately not explained.

Can anyone help?

Answer from client Had a call from the client, but it's not exactly enlightening. The agency designing the new website simply copy-pasted the text from the old site, and it turns out that no one knows what the term actually means. They suspect the term was made up to begin with, and my (admittedly only google) research seems to confirm that. Their solution has been to delete the sentence, so problem solved - sort of. Thanks everyone for their input - have used bits of it in my translation :-)

wear-anywhere versatility

is my instintive reaction to the phrase, based on a literal translation of passepartout and interpreting Geschmeidigkeit simply as flexibility or adaptability rather than necessarily to do with the fit or lie of the clothes.

I've been trying to edit my question but no luck! So here's extra info (only occurred to me once I'd read your helpful and creative answers): it's from the manufacturer to the buyer community so I'm actually thinking this is a technical term rather than a sound-nice marketing term. Have asked the client who is getting back to me - I'll let you know!) (and I love your suggestions...)
