stretch velour dresses Explanation: This is a bit of a difficult one. I have been sewing clothes for years and regularly buy fabrics in Germany and the UK. No one in UK would have any clue what "Nicki" is, I am sure about that. There are different types of Nicki, but the closest you can get is "stretch velour" I would say. One big point about Nicki is that it is stretchy (as opposed to velvet). It is like a combination between jersey and velvet, so it has the top surface like velvet but a back like a stretch jersey.
