German term or phrase: 8-fach vernäht
Description of karate trousers - "8-fach vernäht, auch an den Ärmeln"

Reinforced stitching seems to be the most commonly used term but how can I get the "achtfach" across?

Anyone come across something similar before?

Explanation:
Would be a literal translation, although I am not entirely convinced that octuple-stitching is practically possible.

Octuple is what I went with in the end. I found the literal translation was simply clearest and most succinct (especially since that was in a list form). Thank you, Armorel.
