These are instructions for a courier delivering packages. This is the only reference to 'Abschreibung' in the document. I've found the following definition on-line 'Mangelvermerk auf Beförderungspapieren (zum Beispiel bei fehlenden Packstücken) führt zu Haftungsausschlüssen des Frachtführers'. Not sure if this works here or even what it would be in English. Can anyone help?
Abschreibung: Bitte wählen Sie eine Abschreibung aus oder scannen Sie eine Tour um eine neue Abschreibung zu beantragen oder eine Bestehende zu suchen.

Knowing the German-speaking country of origin would be useful - cf. the other question of borderiert that suggests the delivery is being taken off the delivery slip or BrE vs. AmE docket:
So query; the first weblinked meaning of 'customs transcription', whilst striking out or down of a claim in the second weblink is a hostile step.

I don't understand how that works in this context. What would be depreciating here? |
