Что-то я запутался в очередной раз. Речь идёт о всяких финансовых обязательствах в отношении третьих лиц:

"Die eingegangenen Verpflichtungen gegenüber Dritten waren nicht zu passivieren, da die Gesellschaft nicht mit einer Inanspruchnahme aus den zugrunde liegenden Verpflichtungen rechnet."

Но слово passivieren используется исключительно в металлургии, или я неправ? Как же тогда его перевести в контексте? Заранее спасибо объяснившим моё заблуждение...
