I can only imagine that this is a distortion of the word "ολυμπίσια", the colloquial form of "ολύμπιος"

Sikelianos is famous for his elaborate use of the vernacular, and with my knowledge of Greek it's sometimes very difficult to follow some intricacies of the texts.
Still have to find out what the sonnet "Πετώντας" is about, though. :) If you happen to come across any commentaries, please write!
