Large 'tsitsits' or large tassels Explanation: A tsitsis is an undergarment worn by orthodox Jewish males. In Hebrew, it literally means 'tassels', as it has a tassel at each corner, with 613 strands altogether, representing the 613 laws of the Torah (the first 5 books of the Bible). Tzitzitim is the plural and gadol (pl. gdolim) means large. Hope this helps Julia |
