The terms termination/revocation/waiver imply, that the citizenship was taken away or given up by a person or an authority, while the Hungarian term ‘megszűnés’ is “person neutral”, it doesn’t imply an action on anyone’s part. Furthermore the term ‘nationality’ has a completely different meaning than “állampolgárság”, which very strictly means Citizenship.
