Hungarian term or phrase: boszorkányfióka volt: fruskányi kölyöklány
Ő két évvel később került ide a városból, és amolyan boszorkányfióka volt: fruskányi kölyöklány, pipaszár lábakkal és alig bimbózó mellekkel.

She was witch-spawn: a right little tomboy
Explanation:
The generative addition of spawn is common to denote something negative, displaying the characteristics of something that may have begat it.

Tomboy is a simple way of expressing a girl who behaves like a boy.

'A right little...' takes the diminutive from fruska (fruskányi), though the feminine aspect is only reflected in the word tomboy that follows.

'A right little brat' is probably a much better way of expressing fruskányi kölyöklány

she was kind of a witches brood: a teenybopper

Explanation:

The young of an animal or a family of young; esp: the young (as of bird or insect) hatched or cared for at one time. Mivel a magyar kifejezés is jelképes, az angol is legyen jelképes.

neutral  Michael Golden: I'm pretty sure that "brood" normally refers to a group (i.e. of birds, children)

-> Exactly, just like fióka in Hungarian. The birds have fióka, and when we joke about children, we can say fióka jokingly.

neutral  juvera: A brood fészekalja. Több fióka: fiókák. Nézd meg az OED-t, a brood gyűjtőfogalom. A kifejezés: he's an ugly... HE HAS, vagy: he is FROM an... vagy: his ugly brood, he is an ugly brute, she is an ugly broad, de sohasem: he is an ugly brood.

-> Tévedsz, Juvera! Nem hallottad még, amikor valakire mondták, hogy "he is an ugly brood"? Egyébként a Websterben a brood elsődleges jelentése. Plusz lásd a megjegyzsét, amit helyhiány miatt fentebb írok be mindjárt.

neutral  Katalin Horváth McClure: A fióka szó magyarul EGY fiókát jelent. Többes számban fiókák. Pl. Annak madárnak csak egy fiókája van. A másik már felnevelte a fiókáit.
