ceremonial sword Explanation: From the description this is a possibility. It is clearly more for symbolic use that for fighting so is probably used in significant ceremonies. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2012-07-05 09:01:13 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "sword of honour" is another possibility. In 1971 the world famous Wilkinson Sword presented 231 with the only ever ceremonial sword forged for an ATC squadron, known as the Wilkinson Sword of Honour. http://www.231atc.org.uk/index.php/history Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceremonial_weapon |
