Italian term

superare le soglie di deducibilità

Italian to English Bus/Financial Accounting
Could anyone help me? I am attempting to convey the meaning of this Italian sentence into British English.

[...]procederà ad operare notevoli svalutazioni di crediti, tali da superare le soglie di deducibilità previsti ai fini dell'imposizione sui redditi.

My attempt:

[...] shall continue to perform bad debt depreciations, thus exceeding allowance (or alternatively bad debt deduction) thresholds in terms of income tax (or alternatively for income tax purposes).

The text then goes on to say that consequently deferred tax assets shall be recorded on the balance sheets.

I would like to make sure the original statement has not been distorted in any way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

tax deduction limit

A threshold is usually a lower limit. This is a maximum limit beyond which you cannot make further deductions for income tax purposes (ai fini dell'imposizione sui redditi). This is probably a bank which can't deduct all its loan losses resulting from loan write downs.
