Does anyone know whether there is a word or expression in English to designate the space in a bell tower where the bells are located? The Italian "cella campanaria"? I do not want to use bell tower or belfry, if I can help it.

I have the Penguin Dictionary of Architecture at home; prompted by Oliver's comment, I checked it. It doesn't have bell(-)chamber, but it has bell gable / bellcote "a framework on a roof to hang bells from".
