Italian term

un rinnovato salto

Italian to English Art/Literary Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting Review on artist's collection
I have found "renewed leap" or "rehabilitated leap" through synonym searching, but I cannot find anything intuitively or creatively myself, if these are no good.

Per questo i suoi visi/il suo viso / sono pieni di una vitalità che va oltre i soggetti, presi a prestito dalla memoria o dalla storia e ogni viso si offre come un rinnovato salto nel cuore dell’essere.

With Shabelula "a plunge back into"
Shabelula Nov 18, 2019:
I'd use "plunge into"
Lara Barnett (asker) Nov 18, 2019:
@ Fiona Thanks.
Fiona Grace Peterson Nov 18, 2019:
Renewed leap is fine I think :-)

another insight/a further leap into

another insight into the heart/essence of the subject

if you want to stick with "leap" say a further leap into
Peer comment(s):

agree Tony Keily : I prefer insight because we're talking about faces. Each new face being a leap is mixing it up a bit (it's not "the hand that rocked the cradle kicked the bucket" for "my mother died", but it's getting there!

a refreshing plunge

"plunge" makes more sense in the context than "leap". To maintain original meaning, "refreshing" is the adjective that sounds the best.
