When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Toasty's commment That's very interesting. If this is the case, I would leave out any mention of "digestibility". If you have to put anything, something like "perfectly cooked" or something maybe? Unless of course you just leave it out completely as suggested.

an entirely Italian idea I think it sounds odd in English because native English speakers simply don't think about how easily pizza is digested. However in Italy it's ALL OVER THE PLACE. Literally every pizza place has this on their menu, despite it being nonsense (the idea is that the yeast is risen in the 'right' way so it doesn't continue to ferment in your stomach - total nonsense, as a 400 degree celsius oven will immediately kill all yeast). I'd almost just leave it out entirely and replace it with something like "hand-made slow-rise pizza dough".

digeribilita I also find this odd, like Phil, and I think more context needs to be provided, as at least in English there is most certainly alternative ways to say this (depending on context...) ??

It's an odd word to use of a pizza - doesn't make it sound very appetising.

@asker What is the context and the surrounding text? I don't think a word for word translation sounds very smooth.

See my discussion entry above. The idea behind "alta digeribilita'', in essence, is that to get this easily digestible pizza, the dough has to proof for around 72 hours so that enzymes break down the "molecular bonds", turning them into something else that's easier to digest.

agree philgoddard : This is good, intelligent translation. I'm assuming it's a recipe or menu item, in which case "dough" is probably not correct.

thanks! though technically it's the dough that's proofed, not the actual pizza. Maybe "pizza made with handmade slow-rise dough"?
