I don't know to differentiate ad aria/ad acqua, as I don't know how these things work and I don't want to buy the complete text.

These are two different heating systems: one heats water to be sent into the heating system, the other heats air that is distributed in the building (forced air).

I assume they're stoves rather than cookers. This may not be the exact wording used in the standard, but the meaning will be clear.

The English translation of the Italian standard says cookers, so you might want to use that instead, though my preference would be stoves.

| Yes. I initially wanted to put stoves, but I see the standard uses cookers! So ad aria means for heating the environment while ad acqua means for domestic hot water, I presume. |
