I was wondering if someone could tell me the English (AE or UK) equivalent of the term azienda coniugale.

Che cosa si intende per azienda coniugale?

L’azienda coniugale è quella che viene gestita in maniera congiunta dai coniugi in regime di comunione legale dei beni: non importa se l’azienda sia stata costituita prima o durante il matrimonio [13]. Nell’azienda coniugale gli utili e gli incrementi patrimoniali dell’azienda ricadono direttamente nella comunione legale, indipendentemente dall’attività lavorativa effettiva di ciascuno dei coniugi all’attività. L’azienda coniugale si differenzia dall’impresa familiare per il fatto che la prima viene gestita da entrambi i coniugi, e non da un unico titolare come accade per la seconda.
