Italian to English Medical Medical: Dentistry dentistry costs
I'm having trouble finding a translation for "sociale" in this context.

It clearly refers to dental care provided at an accessible price because I have this sentence:

La crisi economica mondiale spinge i pazienti alla ricerca di soluzioni più sociali, a costo più contenuto.

The real difficulty is when they start talking about the dentures or implants:

Possiamo offrire un impianto a esagono esterno più performante nella protesi sociale

come puoi notare anche io ho problemi nella traduzione ma ho la sensazione che anche in italiano l'uso di sociale in questo contesto sia recente, di solito la terminologia viene "importata". In molti testi inglesi ricorre la parola social e credo si possa utilizzare, tanto più che corrisponde alla traduzione. Il problema principale, a mio avviso, e' quello di rispettare la realtà italiana. Queste protesi sono destinate ai nuovi poveri, impiegati, commessi, insegnanti, gente che lavora nella crisi e non ce la fa.

Sono d'accordo che questo è il significato di sociale in questo contesto, non trovo ancora un modo accettabile di esprimerlo in inglese.

secondo me pensiamo la stessa cosa, ho visto l'altro commento. il testo e' chiaro, vuol dire accessibile a tutti, sarebbe affordable forse pure low-cost ma non può essere pubblicizzato così. E riabilita socialmente, consente di preservare la dignità
