Italian term

ROP = MV e SCP

Italian to English Medical Medical (general)
I am translating the results of a physical examination (an "EO") for a cancer patient, and am unable to figure out what this kind of "ricerca obiettiva" refers to, or the results. (It is followed by an ROC, which is for the heart, an ROA, which is for the abdomen, and an ROM, which is for the breast).

There is no other context.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

respiratory examination

Given that "MV" means "vesicular breath sounds" in the context of physical examinations, I would say that the "P" would stand for "polmonare". "SCP" should stand for "suono chiaro polmonare" = "clear lung sounds".

Acromed is a good resource for acronyms, let me see if I can find the link...
