Tirando le somme del 2010, molti brand di lusso hanno spostato la loro attenzione sul mercato cinese in quanto il "faster growing" a livello mondiale: nessun altro Paese è infatti riuscito in tempi recenti a mostrare un tasso di crescita così elevato, che si ripercuote positivamente sui numeri di vendita a livello globale. Ma, com'è noto, al contrario degli americani che hanno storicamente sempre voluto numerose personalizzazioni, allo stato attuale i cinesi si limitano ad acquistare e ad apprezzare il prodotto europeo, salvo rare eccezioni, "as it is", senza inficiare pesantemente sui contenuti.

I have to agree with Phil's comment - it really means "as is" but if you wanted to add something after the already present "as it is" this is just a suggestion :-)
