Hallo, noch eine Filmdrehtechnikfrage: bleibt "OFF" in einem Drehbuch einfach stehen, ist das richtig?
Beispiel Drehszene: Jemand sitzt im Knast, es wird beschrieben, wie er sich dort fühlt, dann heißt ab und zu. Er hört OFF schreiende Stimmen. Es geht weiter... Neue Szene: er schreibt OFF einen Brief an seine Geliebte...
Oder gibt es filmtechnisch einen anderen Ausdruck dafür?

Meine Infos stammen von einer Kollegin mit 15-jähriger Übersetzungserfahrung im Kino- und Fernsehbereich.

OFF wird im Italienischen mit fuori campo, d. h. (f.c.) übersetzt. Praktisch heisst das, dass der Darsteller während er spricht nicht auf dem Bildschirm zu sehen ist.

Andere nütliche Ausdrücke:

IN - in campo (i.c.) - Darsteller auf dem Bildschirm zu sehen
gleichzeitig, überlappend - accavallato (acc.)- 2 Darsteller sprechen gleichzeitig
Laute - (versi) bzw. (verso)

Mit Off camera, kurz Off werden Ereignisse bezeichnet, von denen der Zuschauer annimmt, dass sie sich außerhalb des von der Kamera erfassten Bereichs abspielen. Auch Annahmen des Zuschauers z. B. über Beziehungen zwischen Protagonisten, die sich aus dem tatsächlich dargebotenen Plot ableiten lassen (Implikation) werden so bezeichnet.
