Yra tokia Vilniaus universiteto leista knygelė, "Lietuviškų žodžių realijų vertimas į anglų kalbą" - ten aiškina taip. Nelabai sklandžiai skamba, bet vis geriau nei "subbotnik", tuo labiau, kad lietuviška talka (Smetonos laikais ir anksčiau) neturi nieko bendra su lenininėmis talkomis.
