kaupang is a viking town - understood. what does "Kilen" then mean in this sentence.
"Den lille handelsplassen ved kaupangkilen ble grunnlagt ca. 770/780. I'm not familiar with it and it isn't in any reference book(s) I possess. Any ideas?
