"I'll tell, I'll tell"; idle/empaty threats
So far, Ahmadinejad's main tool in fighting back has been the political dirt he has dug up and threatened to use on his rivals, a tactic he has employed often with great effect, and which his critics have dubbed "begam begam", which roughly translates as "I'll tell, I'll tell."

It goes without saying that "I'll tell, I'll tell" requires an explanation to clarify the subtle political reference it includes.

Discussion
Here, Ahmadinejad (and others) are threatening to tell what they know about the system as a kind of "blackmail".
For me the logic was to try to use a similar construction, which is basically what children use. Children don't want to be called or known as a "tattletale".
We would say something like this in English:
The "tattletale" era has ended.
or
The "tattling" period is over.
and
Erdoghan has collected his "tattletale" documents.
I hope this explains it...if not please ask for more explanation.
1) I wonder if you know the origin and the political connotations of "بگم بگم" in Iranian political environment? How do you relate your answer to this sphere?
2) Would you please translate the following based on the words you've suggested?
Thank you.
