Explanation:
Od kilku lat tłumaczę teksty polskich (nad)leśnictw na język angielski i zawsze stosowałam "forest inspectorate" - nadleśnictwo, "forest district" - leśnictwo. Ostatnio jednak poprawiła mnie pani z biura pewnego nadleśnictwa, która studiowała leśnictwo po polsku i angielsku. Wyjaśniła, że wykładowcy angielscy zawsze kazali im nazywać nadleśnictwo "forest district", a leśnictwo "forest subdistrict".
