"... é designer textil e a "mãos de fada" do grupo."

i.e. someone who is handy and creative at making furnishings and other nice things from fabric, thread and such materials. Is there an equivalent expression in English?

Verginia's "magic touch" suggestion Verginia Ophof's "magic touch" is the correct expression, I believe. e.g. "She's the one with the magic touch in the group". Verginia, if you read this, suggest you put it as an Answer.

@ Margarida Can you explain what the text is and who its readership if for if possible. There are many possibilities,, but the registers of each one would depend on the type of text this is. I don't know how the agrees here can be verified, and a solution found, without knowing the purpose and area of the text.
